Who is this workshop for?
This Full Day (10am - 6pm) workshop is designed for beginner to advanced photographers who are looking to add a touch of magic to their portfolio. If you want to learn from an experienced professional with years of experience and learn in creating emotive portraits with outstanding depth, explore your own creative genius, and reach new heights of photography, this workshop is for you.
WHAT DOES THE WORKSHOP INCLUDE?
As one of the ‘Discovering Art’ workshop participants, you will receive:
● PROFESSIONAL LIGHTING: Participants of this photography workshop can expect to gain invaluable knowledge and hands-on experience in transforming lighting to capture stunning images.
● IMPROVE YOUR ART: Garner knowledge on how to use props, create storytelling images, and creative emotive images that move you through education, practice, and experimentation in photography and visual arts.
● LEARN HOW TO CREATE SELF PORTRAITS: You will be guided on how to create your own self portraits so that you can make stunning portraits of yourself or with your significant other anywhere there is a source of light. Or how to create stunning portraits with artificial lighting techniques.
● ONE ON ONE AND GROUP SESSIONS: Receive individualistic assistance from Zachary and also have group activities that will involve creating with your fellow participants through critical thinking and analysis exercises. Only 4 people will be allowed in the workshop so that sufficient time may be spent with each student.
● PROFESSIONAL POSING: You will obtain posing tips and learn how to direct your subjects by posing yourself, learn to observe body language and natural movements, and be able to practice directing the models yourself.
● POST PRODUCTION: You will learn post-production techniques using software like Photoshop and Lightroom. Receive guidance and practical experience in enhancing and transforming your images with simple techniques.
● LECTURES- You will receive informative lectures on various topics and have the opportunity to ask unlimited questions and gain in-depth knowledge from the experienced instructors.
● CATERING: We understand that dietary preferences are important, and therefore, attendees of the workshop will be delighted to know that we offer catering with a variety of options including meat, vegetarian, and vegan, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and cared for during their learning experience.
● PROFESSIONAL MODELS: The workshop will have the exciting opportunity to photograph exceptional models, providing you with a unique chance to create stunning and captivating images while refining your photography skills.
● UNIQUE VENUE: Participants of the workshop will have access to a beautiful studio where they can practice their photography skills, to photograph models in various exercises, providing them with diverse settings to refine their craft.
● PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP: Be a part of a private Facebook group where you will have access Zachary to ask questions as well as follow up and share work with your fellow participants.
Cost for the workshop is $1750:
The workshop may be paid for in two ways:
You may pay in full
You may pay half at the time of reserving your spot and half two weeks before the start date.

Once you’re ready to move forward you will receive an invoice via email.
The Workshop is non refundable.
If you’re unable to attend you will receive no refund but will be able to re attend another workshop for a pro rated amount.

Workshop Venue
In this workshop you will have access to a beautiful vintage studio and the opportunity to photograph exceptional models, participants of the workshop will also receive catered meals with a variety of dietary options to accommodate different preferences. They will have access to informative lectures covering various topics, from posing and lighting to post-production techniques using software like Photoshop and Lightroom. Participants can also receive one-on-one guidance from experienced instructor Zachary Lee, who can provide personalized feedback and advice to help them improve their photography skills.
Throughout the workshop, participants will gain valuable knowledge on how to explore their own creativity and express their unique stories through their images. They will learn how to use basic and everyday objects to create stunning and captivating photographs, and also learn to utilize the light that surrounds them along with whatever setting is given to them. demonstrating that it's not always the gear that matters, but the creativity and vision of the photographer.
